If you are into magical technology, this is a great place to start. It’s akin to building an electrical circuit with one of those little kits you get as a kid. Almost everything you need to learn about the principles of magic is here.
The Container is simple but very, very powerful, and it’s a gateway to the vast, never-ending mystery of how humans can tinker in the back end of reality.
There is a moment in time after a high-impact emotional event when one should never practice revenge magic or any magic, but especially the left-handed variety.
The state of our minds impacts the outcome. Our emotions are running high and out of control, and a magical practitioner ideally wants to clear this erratic explosion of emotions as quickly as possible so one can get on with clear, directed magical practice.
Whatever that may be….
Enter: The Container of Hate Spell slash ritual.
So firstly, let me explain the backend of reality to you. This is a metaphorical description, but it’s also true. If you’re an experienced witch, this will make sense to you; if not, buckle up- it will eventually.
Hatred and its little comrades, jealousy and revenge, are terrible house guests. Once you let them in the door, the door being your mind, they plonk their fat little bodies down in a dark, quiet corner and build nests. The nests are made up of strands of your hate and other such emotions that leak from your psyche after a nasty break-up.
Things like
Remember what he said.
Remember what she did.
Remember the promises he broke.
Remember what you should have said when you had the chance.
And my personal favourite:
How could I have been so stupid….
Anyway, these little blighters grow and grow, become fat on your ruminating thoughts and do vile fart inside your mind, creating a horrible miasma; you might even lose some friends.
The stench may even leak out into your physical reality.
One day they lay a nasty, hot, steaming, leathery egg, and if you keep feeding it, it hatches, and your life can spiral into all kinds of bad, impulsive decisions with life-altering, long-term impacts.
People really do underestimate the spiritual sides of ourselves.
However, my friends, there is a solution
After heartbreak, particularly when you’ve been betrayed or badly treated, there can be an enormous pressure to get rid of the anger.
Forgive.
Release.
Let go.
Send them love.
Absolute bollocks
Some anger has important information in it. It tells us where a boundary was crossed. It tells us what we will never tolerate again. Sometimes it is the first little spark of life that appears after months of feeling flattened.
The problem isn’t necessarily that you hate someone.
The problem begins when your hatred requires you to keep thinking about them to sustain it and feed it.
You want to spiritually starve the other person of your energy
You don’t want the bastard getting free accommodation in your head.
So, we’re going to evict them.
Not with a curse.
What The Container of Hate does
The Container of Hate isn’t designed to make your anger disappear.
It’s a containment ritual, as mentioned before, an energy starvation ritual.
Instead of repeatedly carrying the same thoughts around internally, we’re going to give them somewhere else to live.
